Healing from Light Wounds
The boxer had been under observation while recuperating from non-critical injuries, his management team stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on X that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to “recuperate at home”.
“The boxer and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two deceased friends as they were being readied to be sent home,” the commissioner stated.
A Tribute to the Fallen
The two men who died were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and deeply emotional over the passing of his two trusted companions.”
