The former president's Family Member Receives Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile backers as she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically advised me to play and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA standings.

However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the top athlete globally," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He told me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of the biggest names in the sport at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts a massive following and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness brand.
